FileOn Announces Two New Products at AIIM On Demand Show
NORWALK, CT - May 18, 2005 -- FileOn, a Norwalk Connecticut-based provider of Enterprise Document Management solutions announced two new products at the 2005 AIIM ON DEMAND Conference. The FileOn Integration Server and the FileOn TransFORM Server combined with the FileOn eLibrary Enterprise Suite help customers make better business decisions. They can now simultaneously access information on paper and databases via an organized information repository accessed through Web Services.
FileOn Integration Server (FIS) is a middleware integration product which can be configured to support a variety of adaptors for enterprise messaging services. FIS by design supports XML and HL7 bi-directional, multi-channel integration with applications. FIS supports Web Services Application Programming Interface (API) allowing multiple systems to seamlessly integrate with information repositories. FIS enables IT organizations to fully integrate complex legacy, current and next generation systems quickly and effectively.
FileOn TransFORM Server (FTS) allows clients to convert paper forms into web applications in minutes. Information can be stored, accessed and searched from the database, and at the same time information can be printed precisely onto pre-printed paper-forms. Multi-sized forms that previously could only be completed using a typewriter can be configured to be printed using a standard office printer. This finally starts to make the typewriter obsolete and forms based information is now accessible to enterprise wide applications.
"FileOn aims to bring innovative products to market by listening to customers who drive our business." says Anowar Shahjahan , FileOn President and CEO. "Imagine if paper and database information could be married into a self organizing information repository and seamlessly integrated with external systems based on policy definitions. If you had this technology how might this impact your organization?"
FileOn Integration Server is now in beta test at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut and the FileOn TransFORM Server is in production use by Town of Stratford , Connecticut . The products are scheduled for release third quarter of 2005.
