NORWALK, CT - February 21, 2004 - FileOn, a document management services company based in Norwalk, CT, has launched its Information Logistics Services (ILS) suite. ILS services enhance the ability of FileOn clients to store, retrieve and use their document-based information in a secure and cost-effective manner through the continuous conversion of documents to the Internet. The primary benefits of ILS services are to help law firms and businesses address the issues of productivity, regulatory compliance, vital records protection, audits, and the support of industry-specific reporting requirements.
The first service available in the ILS suite is the AutoArchive Service (AAS) for Attorneys. This service provides small to midsize law offices the same productivity and cost reduction benefits previously only available to larger firms. The FileOn AutoArchive Service includes scanning, indexing, storage and online access, which make documents available for immediate access, retrieval, downloading and sharing via e-mails. ILS services can be easily integrated into existing workflow and case management tools. There is nothing to install, setup or learn, which creates a streamlined document management system. The ILS suite will continue to evolve from user feedback and requirements.
